Hi everybody,

Just last week, I purchased a 1992 Saab 900 Turbo Convertible - only about 24 years after I first fell in love with the classic 900s and began scheming to own one. Even as my automotive tastes broadened and matured, the 1986 Saab 900 SPG (Edwardian Gray, of course) lingered as my favorite car in the world. The classic 900 hatchback profile is my standard for automotive loveliness.

Over the years, I've test-driven several 900 Turbos and SPGs, but they have never quite right, so I could not be more excited to find this '92 Turbo Convertible - fast, tight, solid, and unbelievably gorgeous. Aside from a stiff clutch with a weirdly low release point and a trunk that oddly refuses to open, it is (so far) everything I expected it to be.

No particular questions in this post - I just wanted to say hello and let you all know that I'm incredibly excited to join your ranks as a classic 900 owner and to finally post on TSN, which I've read off an on for years and years. And if any of you live in the Seattle area, I can't wait to encounter you on the road or at car shows and events.
