... both with well known history ... the '85 is a 11/84 build and the SPG kit is black as is the case on all the very, very early SPGs. Ordered with the "hi fi" speakers. Has the lovely Bridge of Weir leather. Purchased at MCL in Vancouver.

The '89 is a 1/89 (I think... maybe 2/89) build, ordered with twin-circular-tip sports exhaust and 175hp red box. Has the later Elmo leather which while it does seem to wear better doesn't feel/look as nice as a well-kept Bridge of Weir interior. Purchased at Cooke in Calgary.

I had an '88 SPG a few years ago which was edwardian grey with buffalo interior, but that was an American-market car.

The two other '85 SPGs I have seen around Vancouver are also both Canadian-market cars and are both black on tan as well.

Two other Vancouver SPGs I know fairly well are also both black on tan -- an '88 and a '90. Both also Canadian market.
