1 More Idle Question

My hunting idle problem developed rather suddenly, surging between 1600 to 2000rpms - I replaced the NTC sensor, checked, sealed and/or replaced some of the engine vac lines. Checked the idle control valve - stopper is free and works when tested with 12 volts. The butterfly stopper is adjusted properly. Car idles nicely, except at about 1100rpms. Does the Mass Air Flow and O2 sensors play into controlling the idle? Thanks in advance for your input.
