You may want to run through Townsend Imports No Start LH 2.4 page just to be sure what the problems is., Not that the Walbro fuel pumps don't ever buy the farm.
The '89 LH 2.4 ECU is the Alfred E Neuman of SAAB fuel injection computers. Lots of them, including the one in my car, have been replaced because the transistor that switches the fuel pump circuit tends to burn out.
