Ah - well that was a significant mistake. Not sure about getting the shaft out far enough to get that all stuffed back in.
So - based on what you are saying, that rubber boot should be between the bearing and the clutch slave housing?
AFA the bleed - I did the reverse bleed using a giant syringe. Seemed to get the air out of the system.
Pretty sure the three bolts are tight. I think that I ordered one of these bearings but wasn't sure where it went after waiting for the rest of the parts to arrive. I clearly have no idea what I am doing - just taking a look at what is there before tearing it apart and putting non-matching parts back in guessing and what is what. I was just excited to get the clutch, pressure plate and master back in after the difficulty getting it out. Guess it makes sense that it was easier leaving that part out.
