thinking this morn about all the options of SPRING removal, in order to facilitate the new upper rubber bushing R&R. Many have recommended lowering springs so that one has a chance to reinstall afterwards.
However my old knees know this Turbo 'Vert is already low enough....don't want to drop it another 20~30mm just to enable UCA removal and spring reinstallation (front obviously).
But wait....what about containing the spring energy with the rental strut compressors, and leaving the spring inplace? That was my thought early this morn before my coffee kicked in. I could do one side at a time...contain the spring energy, loosen the bushing mounts and remove them 1x1, install new bushings, reinstall, then release the spring force and move to the other side.
Whadayya think?
