I've had lots of problems with those bulbs in several C900s because of the bulb holder not making good contact with the traces on the Mylar sheet (or whatever it is) that provides the power. Sometimes retensioning the contacts and reseating the bulb holder helps, but often the bulbs will eventually lose contact again. Those bulb holders also get brittle and crumble, and lose the little ears that center them in the hole. I'm down to my last few good ones of those!
