Boost giving occasional "mule kick" Posted by iveand [Email] (#3155) [Profile/Gallery] (more from iveand) on Wed, 1 May 2013 19:06:24 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
90 SPG, 240K: I have been reading on RadioFlyer's drama and finding a solution to his issues with the coil.
For me, I don't have as much experience with turbo diagnosis (SPG is "new" to me and previous 900 work mostly with a n/a). Anyway, during "moderate boost" (just in mid / upper yellow) it seems fine. However, it does possibly seem a bit "doggy" in spooling up. But, if I have to push it a bit more aggressive (entry ramp to freeway, for example: get it up to border of yellow / red on the gauge), it will give a few "kicks" (maybe "cuts"). Short but noticeable.
I guess I am asking for general troubleshooting steps for checking any adjustments to the turbo system. I have read several posts but some "from the beginning" things to look at would be helpful (or maybe a recommended link).
Thanks,
iveand
