show a CHECK ENGINE light once in awhile, but it ran perfectly. The removal has made it never have a CE light in 2 years. But if it was removed, and you live in a state that has serious smog testing, the car might not pass because many people removed the smog equipment, but never updated the white decal by the coolant overflow reservoir. If your decal matches your vacuum line routing you're golden. If it was removed by a dealer (Campaign 281) it will have the correct decal. I replaced the old decal on my '91 with the correct decal, after I had some made. If the timing is not correct, that could effect the stuttering, should be 16 degrees like tweetiedancer said. Vern
