I recently had a Classic 1991 Saab 900 dash 'restored' by Dash Specialists in Medford, Oregon at a cost of $998 ($900 +$27 credit card fee + $71 shipping). After I received and got a look at it, I called and spoke with Doug Harris, the owner. I said I thought they did a terrible job - the speaker grills don't fit properly, the recessed tray in the middle wasn't properly formed to the original - it was just an unsupported depression and not formed to the original shape, they didn't do anything with the glove box door, so now it doesn't match, and the holes for mounting screws were covered over.
He told me that I should just punch hole for the screws, shave the speaker grills to fit and not worry about the recessed part or the glove box door- basically, that was as good as it gets and that I should like it. After some discussion to try to reach a reasonable resolution he said he wasn't going to fix it or refund any $ and if I didn't like it I could call a lawyer and then hung up! These are not the kind of people I ever want to have anything to do with, but you can decide for yourself, but knowing what I know now I wouldn't go near them.
