Thanks Justin. I think I'll try the "L" shaped fitting that came with the ES kit. There isn't much room due the aforementioned heater hose in the way, but I really don't like that stuff leaking out at a pretty good rate on a running car (NOT in a garage). The stuff has a pine scent agent in it...would smell good on any other day.
I'm surprised they didn't add a "hydrocarbon based" sticker with the kit. I'll have to engineer something.
I just went out and checked: the pine smell has abated, and the comp. clutch still engages, so if I have a leak, it's not a massive one.
Do you remember how much the manifold gauges at HF cost?
And another question. Most of the leakage is in the form of drips (and some vapor). Do you know or suspect what the drips are composed of (I would think the combustible gas would not exist in liquid form once it is depressurized).
