Used the same old hose and fittings that could fit next to the heater hose and leaked like crazy last time. This time, for 2nd can, the o-rings must have gotten some oil from the last leak, or I was just able to get it to snap on the compressor fitting properly. No leaks. The compressor sucked in the can and now I'm blowing cold air. Let's hope it lasts at least for the season. Thanks for your advise and encouragement. Thanks to walt for identifying the low side on the compressor body itself (wow, it sounds like I just won the British Open). I'll let ya'all know how well it works and how long it lasts (my leakage state if any).
The kit came with two bottles of R134a replacement refrigerant and one can of "stop leak" which I assume also contains refrigerant. I did not add this can as I'm a little paranoid without a manifold gauge of over pressurizing the system. If anyone thinks I should also add this can, chime in.
Just wish we could find Envirosafe off the shelves locally as it is almost as expensive to ship as it is to buy the product online. If anybody knows of a chain that carries this stuff, let us know.
