Ya Snowmobile, you bring out some good points, especially about the earlier, less complex cars. The earlier they are the more they are like the old "99's". A nice shell is not easy to find, especially in New England, where I am located but they are around. Cars have a way of getting relocated.

I am thinking that a 91-92-93 (I don't want a vert, I want a hatch) would make swapping things a lot easier.

How many miles do you have on your 9-5?
