I think you're looking for a 4188 rotor. That's the 1985 turbo 16V rotor. The 4144 is for a 8 valve engine. The 8V engines have a different distributor and rotor. Only the cap is the same. The distributor # is on the main shell opposite the oval plug. As Saabina mentioned the OE dist. for the 86-87T engines ends in -007. The 85T engine came with the one year only -005 distributor. Either dist. will work on the 85-87T engines with the oval plug. The service description for installing a rotor specifies you put some glue on the dist. shaft before installing the rotor. That keeps it from loosening up. I've only seen adhesive a couple times. Never used it myself. So the removal proceedure assumes it was properly installed with glue. If it was glued it would be hard to remove so crushing it with slip joint pliers is recommended.
