Since I went ahead and pulled it last night, some of the local auto parts shops have alternator testers, I'm going to take it over there and see if they can check it out for me. I might have a spare regulator in my stash of parts I can try out in it too and see if it works any better on the bench tested too! If it works there, It's on to Siegfried's comment and I'll check ground.
