Verts are pretty special in terms of car audio

Bob,
first of all, you do not want to put your sub into a vert's trunk because C900CV have their trunk separated from the passenger compartment by means of the rear seat backrest and also because convertible type of automobile body does not have that famous car-audio frequency response characteristic where you've got a 6db/octave boost starting at about 55-80 Hz depending on the body size: you do not have the enclosed body! This means that your sub has to play right into the passenger compartment, not into the trunk.
Secondly, since you came up with this question, then you have to re-design your subwoofer to make it suitable for convertibles. Otherwise you'll be dealing to woofer (low-frequency speaker) rather then sub-woofer (infra-low frequency speaker).
That's the way it goes.
