Well, I'm sorry but those gears are hopelessly worn and will have to be scrapped.....but, the good news is that I'll help you throw them away.....
NOT!! sorry, just making fun there. I don't see a problem with the gear teeth and hope that Cmyles thinks the same.
What I can tell you is that you should change all the chains at once and not one chain at a time. I believe I saw that in the gearbox manual and I can see why.
How does the oil recovery cup look on the front cover -- does it have marks in it like the one in my gallery? Go to my photo gallery and then to transmission, and you'll see the photo I'm referring to. If the recovery cup as the witness marks of the chain, then the chain tensioner is either not operating correctly, or it's in backwards -- Cmyles can verify that as well.
Does it sound like a 1950s english taxi cab with the geartrain whine ? Hard to describe, but that would be the chain slapping around inside the front cover.
ALSO -- did you ask me for the Girling seal between the master and the booster? Or, was it you that organized a group buy of those parts and I tagged along for the ride? One of the folks on the board asked me for one, and at the time, I couldn't find it, and the other day, I ran across the seal......
