Though a 220V model would probably be better for chassis welding if you have an outlet available. (One way if nothing else is a heavy extension cord on a 220V dryer outlet.)
Learning to weld is on my bucket list and I've been looking around considering the options. The main advice I keep running into is not to cheap out, buy the best equipment you can afford.
