Looking at the Bentley, power to the fuel pump follows this path -
- battery
- through fuel injection main relay
- through the overboost pressure switch
- through the fuel pump relay
- through fuse #30
- to the supply and main fuel pump
Note that the relay coils are commanded by the ECU, so it is part of the circuit as well.
I'd heard that the ECU needs to get the distributor signal to run the fuel pump (it doesn't prime for a few seconds, nor run continuously as I seem to recall my 8V did), so check for spark as well; if you get spark the distributor Hall sensor is working,
The relays and ECU are up forward of the passenger side A-pillar, above the bolster, and the overboost switch is again above the bolster, on the LH side in line with the clutch pedal.
Good luck!
