That seems strange to me, probably because I don't know how the systems interact or what sequence they work in. Seems replacing the distributor's only effect would be the hall sensor signal to the APC and ECU, but I don't know if thats right or what signals what component to move the signal for the pump to run. someone step in and correct my mistakes. Is it starter turns the crank and the distributor, and distributor with hall sensor sends electrical signal to the APC, which sends a signal to the spark magnifier which sends voltage back to coil that creates spark to the electrode part of distributor to the plugs. Meanwhile the APC sends a signal to the EKU and two relays atop that to the fuel pump? Someone step in and draw a mental picture as I don't read wiring diagrams too well. Oh OK I'm just too lazy to try.
