I don't know if I'd trust the super glue long term. I usually drill out and tap the place where the rivets were and use screws. I've had a repaired switch come back apart on me when I used the high beam switch. When it came apart, I couldn't turn the high beams off. Pissed off a lot of drivers on the way home, and got more than my share of high beam flashes.
