I find the search doesn't always bring up everything I'm looking for - depends on key words etc, and if it brings up a lot of stuff, things may be buried in the past. I've posted this exact same content before, but it was probably so long ago now that it is likely pretty buried... so that's why I thought I'd post it again. The glue should be fine - whatever works is great! You may find that a little heat applied carefully may be the way to open it if need be in the future?
I was quite intrigued though by the failure mode, as for both of mine it was a worn track. I will need to watch for that!
