Great, then crap part II Posted by Jawerdna [Email] (#2022) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Jawerdna) on Thu, 8 Jun 2017 08:14:24 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Starting a follow-up thread due to the length of my previous post on this: http://saabnet.com/tsn/bb/900/index.html?bID=453371
After replacing the temp sensor on the cylinder head between injectors 2 & 3 (what's the other sensor between injectors 1 & 2?), the car still has the hesitation/choking symptoms I initially posted about. However, my cooling fans seem to operate normally for the first time in a year and come on once the engine reaches normal operating temperature (they used to come on 2 minutes after start-up and stay on).
What I noticed yesterday, however, is that my car's choking symptoms coincided with the fans turning on. Is it possible the two could be related? I've cleaned all ground locations, voltage doesn't dip with the fans on, and nearly every other component has been fixed/replaced. Probably just a coincidence, but I'm struggling with this and the indies in Minneapolis don't have time to "play" with the car to work on the issue...
Thanks.
