Just out of curiosity, did you replace the turbo inlet hose?

This is the rubber piece that connects the plastic duct that runs from the AMM to the turbo.



Then tend to get soft and split after a couple of decades of heat and oil.

That was a cause of bad running on my '89 SPG. Replacing it made a huge difference in how the car ran.

You can get it from thesaabsite or eEuro. FWIW, shipping is cheaper from thesaabsite.
