I've corrected three leaks at the throttle body, 2 on the side going from the turbo bypass and the other one beneath it, and 1 at the TPS where the rubber ring had dried out. I then ran the shopvac again to check for any other leaks and found none.
Alas, I'm still having the same problem when the car warms up, coughing. I do, however, now hear a hissing sound in the hose from the AIC to the top of the throttle body. I pinch the hose and it goes away. The same thing happened when the turbo bypass valve was blown.
I'm reaching here but could the AIC be bad? My understanding is that a bad AIC would cause irregular idling and stalling but my issue has always seemed different.
Thoughts?
