I think you probably want to take a step back and determine what it is you want to accomplish. The stock speaker sizes are incredibly small by today's standards, and were never positioned terribly well. Replacement options are limited due to... antiquated... sizes, and spending all the money in the world on stock replacements isn't going to give you the same quality sound you'll get in a Ford Fiesta. My *personal* opinion is that if you're going to try and do anything other than easy/cheap like-kind replacement (new 4" + new 4x10"), you're going to need to modify the car in some way, shape or form. Spending "real" money to put small speakers back in small holes pointed up... meh... not a good use of cash dollars.
Barring some sort of real install, I would pick up some name brand 4" coax speakers for the front, some name brand 4x10s in back (you don't have many options), and an inexpensive digital amp like the Kenwood KAC-M1804 to drive them. It's a couple hundred dollars and an afternoon install... the dollar:performance ratio of the next step is really poor IMHO.
