Thank you! I noticed some exposed wiring in there last night and was wondering the best way to go about tackling that.
I've cleaned the AMM, and that seemed to have no effect so I may be springing for a new one soon. The clips on the plastic air filter cover that clip onto the AMM are old and loose, I've been wondering if that is causing any issues.
The car also has some other odd issues. The heater adjustment nob seems to have broken loose and the heat is stuck on. The engine temp gauge is very finnicky and only reads correctly maybe 10% of the time, and mostly when stopped in traffic. Other times it will try to creep up but then fall back down to cold again. I've been wondering if part of the problem with the cold start idle/stall issue could be the thermostat, but not sure. Also have read that the gauge issue could just be the sensor going bad.
