It has been sitting for quite a while from what I understand. I will go out and try that right now. Took the side cover off of a good working transmission and I see what it's supposed to be doing .it's just the 5th gear selector rod I cannot get to go backwards to engage fifth gear .i am getting the fifth gear gate.thx
