and use the thrust bearing facing the firewall. ATF pressure in the torque converter usually presses the crankshaft towards the firewall. This results in hardly any wear on this side thrust bearing. Too bad the Saab bearing (8347270) is NLA. The new bearing was 0.092-inch thick.
