So, we have "tire shine" for tires, "wax" for paint finishes, but what can you use inside the engine compartment to shine things up a bit? Now that I have thoroughly scrubbed everything in site, and am preparing to reassemble the myriad of components that I have removed (scope creep)it would be nice to have some shinyness to the completed product.
Some things that would benefit would be the valve cover, turbo hoses, some plastic bits here and there, etc. I wondering if there was a wax that could handle the high temps in the engine compartment? I would think anything "oily" would be a bad idea as it would attract dirt. Maybe one of these newer synthetic waxes?
Anyone been happy with an engine shine product?
