Duyen,
Thank you for posting at TSN!
The induction pipe in your photograph should be SAAB 7514615, and should be a hard plastic pipe with metal inserts at both boot ends. Since this pipe is never under a pressurized condition, they tend to provide excellent longevity. Many shops have repaired this hard pipe with excellent results . There are two rubber boots which connect this pipe to the AMM, and the turbocharger inlet, and typically more prone to require replacing. Any voids or cracks at the induction boots are more common at the turbocharger connection due to the higher temperatures at this junction. Your shop will want to insure that the induction system is sealed since any voids may allow for road debris to enter the turbocharger's rotating compressor wheel which may result in problems.
Best of luck with this project, and thanks again for posting at TSN!
Sincerely,
Jay P. at SWEDISH DYNAMICS, INC.
