I got it done but it took a while.

Discovered that I could drive the car and not lose coolant by unscrewing the coolant tank cover. That unpressurized the system and it lost minimal coolant after that.

I was able to get the coolant fitting off without taking the throttle body off. Only possible with GearWrench super flexible shaft and was able to attach 7mm socket and remove the four small bolts; otherwise, there is no room and you must remove the throttle body. Obviously two coolant lines, four other hoses and other things to remove. It was sealed tight to the throttle body and I was surprised when I removed it how orange it was inside from the former DexCool (swapped it out earlier this year) and it was impossible to remove this DexCool residue color. The o-ring did not have any obvious damage but it was flat on both sides of contact. There are also weep holes or similar (?) on each side of the coolant fitting and I assume this is where it was leaking.

I had a hard time finding an o-ring that fit in that area but finally found one that fit perfectly. It's EPDM so it's resistant to coolant and I think heat; not sure. Found it at Menards (a regional home center type place) for $1.29.

I sealed the o-ring in the groove on the coolant fitting with water pump sealant taking care only to cover the outside flanges. Bolted it back on (man, you never know how tight to torque something on aluminum...), reconnected all the hoses.

It is completely leak proof and dry under the throttle body.

I had a semi-bad day yesterday when I first saw it leaking steadily (drip-drip-drip) and in the Ikea parking lot, I did some quick searches on this forum and thankfully this is not an unknown problem, and possible to repair for $1.29 and some sealant. At first, I thought for sure it was coming from the headgasket and dripping on down the throttle body. Relieved that it was relatively simple.
