Those carpet dash mats look OK and cover up a cracked dash but do nothing to stop the cracks. They actually trap heat and make it worse. The trick is to keep it cool. Put a carefully trimmed piece of space blanket or some other reflective material like aluminized Mylar insulation sheet under the dash mat. Or, better yet keep your beautiful c900 in a cool garage and avoid letting it sit in the hot summer sun.
