That is exactly what I was thinking. I could tell while the lady who runs the front office was stumbling through her response to my questions that she had no idea what she or her tech was doing with this particular tranny. I asked to talk to the tech who dropped the pan to sorta feel him out, and she stonewalled me, so that was a big red flag. As I was going through the car when I first got it, I changed the atf fluid and found a few tiny metal filings clinging to the magnet on the screw. I didn't think this was anything serious given the age and mileage of the car. It actually shifts ok for the most part, it's the leak that I want to resolve first. I think it might be coming from the cooler line as I mentioned. IIRC those end connectors are NLA, but a fitting can be fabricated to fit - is that correct? Thanks for the advice.
