Hey Saabina....
A lot to think about, and to address! I will ask my guy to look at all of your ideas.
I can’t seem to find ( online ) where it states that the car is exempt, given its age. In Maricopa county where I live, it says the car has to be a 1965 car to be exempted. Did I mention that the check engine light stays on?
I sent my mechanic most of the responses I’ve gotten here on Saabnet, and will send him your most recent comments. Thank god he isn’t threatened by these viewpoints, I think it’s a big learning moment for him, and he admits that all you folks here, often have more knowledge than he does. Honestly Saabina, I’m a little old to begin to learn car repair. Unless, I had a good teacher... hint hint 😝.
