Second the idea to check the fans. I had a high side blow out occurrence on my 9000 due to an intermittent fan drop out...the connector was bad.
My first thought was a blockage...but after inspecting all, I am sure it was the condenser fan that lead to the high side pressure.
I drained the oil from the compressor and started all over in a similar fashion. New everything but compressor and evaporator. (different car but similar principle)
good luck
