Bogging as soon as I touch the accelerator

Would appreciate any help. My 1989 900 turbo, my daily driver for many years, started bogging undrivably out of the blue. Starts, idles, but as soon as I press the accelerator (in gear or not) it starts to bog down. If I hold the accelerator down the engine races up and down, up and down, never providing enough power to move the car more than a few feet. Was driving fine the day before.
Replaced the plugs and wires, has a stock AMM, no apparent vacuum leaks (though I can't imagine it would be that dramatic), but not sure where to look next. The FPR and pump are a few years old, with probably less than 500 miles on them. Fuel pump is on, and FPR hisses a little bit when I listen closely. Fuel pump relay is busted so it runs direct via a kill switch, but that hasn't been a problem.
Anyone have something similar happen or have any ideas?
