I agree with Roger. Been there done that when I did not tighten the clamps enough and the hose blew off. Look for tears in the neoprene bellows.
You can still get the adapter to attach a fuel pressure gage to the rail too. Fuel filter first if you have a big drop and then the pump. The plastic fittings on the pump are now very brittle. It is critical to replace the orings, if you do manage to get them out intact.
