Finally finished the replacement of clutch master, feed line from the reservoir, and hydraulic feed line to the slave. No fluid leaks and it drives great with no clutch slip. Except… the clutch pedal now has a lot of free movement at the top and engagement point for the clutch is now close to the floor where before it was much more firm at the top and the engagement point was higher. To what can I attribute this new behavior?
So might there still be trapped air somewhere in the system? (Reverse bled the slave (which was not replaced) as well as a vacuum bleeding.) Or am I looking at a slave and/or clutch that has chosen this moment to puke?
I am so over this.
