In a world without NGK BP6ES… what’s plan B Posted by 2nd Owner [Email] (#70) [Profile/Gallery] (more from 2nd Owner) on Wed, 3 Nov 2021 03:51:39 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I’ve got an ‘82 900s
Looking for best alt to the non-resistor BP6ES or BCP6ES. I know there’s a bunch on forums about not using the resistor ones// but a lot of posting were before the old stock had gotten so depleted. Right now I’m not so certain it’s mainly just bootleg knock-offs out there.
So 3 questions.
One: anybody actually use the BPR6ES with ok results in an early 8v’s?
Two: curious about BP6ET’s. Anyone try those. They have the 3 prong tip. They’re discontinued too, but it would increase the universe of old stock options…if I trust they’re also not bootleg.
Three: are there just good over the counter options at my car parts store that people have secretly migrated to?
Thanks all
