I just fought with a misfire issue. Mine ended up being one of two things (did both at same time) an oil leak from the valve cover onto two of the spark plugs threads. Pulled, cleaned the engine side threads and cleaned plugs and replaced valve cover gasket.
And I also swapped out my coil. It was original and when testing it had a pretty yellow spark. I was thinking maybe sitting on that radiator it was behaving differently from cold to hot.
One of those two things fixed it. It’s been pure smooth for a week now at all revs and loads, which it really hadn’t been pretty much for the past year. //if I had to guess though, I’d guess the oily plugs were the real culprit …you have new plugs but be sure the engine side threads are clean.
