I *think* the original injectors for a '87 were Bosch p/n 0280150712, rated at 20.35 lbs/hr at 2.5 bar (the standard fuel pressure regulator for a '87). The "24#" injectors used on Mustangs etc. were Bosch p/n 0280150947, rated as 24.35 lbs/hr at 2.7 bar. So if you install these on your engine with a 2.5 bar regulator, they will provide 23.4 lbs/hr, or about 15% more flow. The system ECU can compensate for this, so you shouldn't have any issue. Back in the day, lots of folks used these "24#" injectors as a modest upgrade, they provided a bit more fuel at high boost pressures. They used to be easy to buy as a 8-pack, but I don't think you can find new ones any more? Most of the ebay ads are for "refurbished" or remanufactured injectors, so be careful about what you buy...
