That's what Jerry Danner (and I think also Chris Myles) recommends. Honda MTF is also highly regarded. I haven't barfed a transmission using it yet.
I did blow out a synchronizer on my first rebuilt transmission (renewed by Eriksson Industries) about 15 years ago - but I am pretty sure my use of Dino (10w30 engine oil) was not the primary cause of it's demise. I was subconsciously testing the "how really fragile" are these statements repeated here frequently. It turned out they are reasonably accurate - trying to change gears really fast is not such a good idea. Since then, I've learned that, if you must drive like a maniac, save flooring the engine until you get, at least to the 2nd to 3rd shift. The 1st to 2nd is quite unforgiving. Even better wait until you are entirely in 3rd.
Since I am an aggressive (sporty) driver, I've taken a number of steps to reinforce the transmission like a steel differential cover, and installing an LSD, but patience and attention to what you are doing is key to making these transmissions last.
