Hello,
I would guess that you fixed the issue when you reseated the oil tubes. When they came loose the lifter probably "collapsed" and it pumped back up after your repair. The slightly lower compression numbers could be due to the lifter not being completely pumped back up thus less lift on the valves and less air to compress. If you did the compression test again it may be closer to the others. Remember 10% difference between cylinders is considered fine. And cylinder four may have been slightly washed down with fuel. I would check the smell of your oil and if it smells like gas change it.
I would start looking for replacement plastic nipples for the oil tubes. If they came out once there is good chance they will come out again. Ofcourse if you are lucky it won't happen for thousands of miles. But last time I needed some they were not easy to find. Good Luck, Bernie
