So, before I began disassy. I sanded the male pins on the top of sender with emory cloth, then tested. Viola, we now have a functional LOW fuel light as well as a FULL signal.
Coated the 3 male pins with vasoline to hopefully stave off any future corrosion, and am beginning trunk reassembly.
Didn't see my ~ 1/3 filled tank when I dropped the sender back in. I noticed in the past it would occassionally jump a bit. Neighborhood test drive will tell the tale.
For now, no disassembly of the sender.
