My battery charger blinks green when ready and stays solid green when connected. When connected to this battery it switches between blinking and solid every few seconds. I left it on overnight but it only charged to about 5.5 volts. No sound when the key turns and no instruments light up on the dash. When I did this the other day a buzzer would turn on when the key was inserted but that isn’t happening anymore.

I was able to jump start it the other day, but the car shut off as soon as the jumper cables were removed. Similarly, it started yesterday when attached to the battery pack, but turned off a few seconds later, presumably when the indicator light switched from “connected” to “ready”.

Previous owner said they replaced the battery and alternator before selling to me. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
