Hello,
The rubber coupler is probably part number 4279634.They are out there. In a pinch a few wire ties will steady the linkage and get you down the road.I do usually keep one laying around due to having several 900's. It is a rubber and metal piece about 2 inches long. It is located roughly over the steering rack it it were you adjust the shift linkage but the rubber section is connected to both the transmission side and the shifter side. Often when they start to tear you are stuck with just 3rd and 4th gear or if early enough 1 side 1st and 2nd or R and 5th. Good Luck, Bernie
