Okay so made some progress.

I got a new tank delivered by Jeff @ ePartsland who also listened to what I thought was an engine death rattle and he told me to stop being such a ninny about it. Much relief there.

Anyway, I put the top rack hose in (that's the return to tank one). and... it' a 19mm. Actually both new hoses are 19mm. First one went in would just not line up so I pulled it out and put it on a spare rack I had. Turns out the hard line was somewhat bent. Using the spare rack I got it bent slightly back into place and it went in fine and I called it for the evening. The second one was also not wanting to align right, it also might need a slight bend in the hard line.

Anyway, will probably finish out today or tomorrow and be back on the road!
