Hello,

I completed the install of the second hose. It was also a 19mm as the other replacement one was. I used a 19mm stubby wrench and was able to get into the area just fine.

This was the hardest of the two, as the first few times I could not get it to align properly. You must be very careful not to strip or cross thread these rack lines because it's totally over if you do. I just took my time and started over once or twice until it was seated really correctly.


In terms of attaching the new tank. There wasn't much too it. One host clamp on each and carefully work the hose and tank back into place. Two 10mm bolts hold the tank on. There are two wide washers/shims that go between the plastic tank and the inner fender. You need to use these as it slightly offsets the tank and gives the lines a bit more room.


The last piece was putting the tank to pump line in. It's held on with a hose clamp and is up an underneath the pump. I got it in place then used a 1/4in ratchet with a 7mm head and got the hose clamp on there nice and snug.

PS, I saw people arguing about the power steering fluid. It's a Saginaw rack and pump setup, the Bentley recommends to use a spec fluid that meets the GM 9985010 spec
