FWIW, I rebuilt my A/C compressor with that kit about 7 years ago. I used another kit that also had some o-rings to seal the compressor body after disassembly. There are also some aluminum crush washers, which I sourced from a Ducati guy. It's a fairly straightforward rebuild IIRC.

After the rebuild, sadly, it does leak oil and spray it onto the hood. Rust proofing. But, happily, it doesn't seem to leak refrigerant.
